Hey all! Just wanted to make sure that we checked in to let you know what kinds of songs we’re using to make the dance floor packed and hopping at the weddings we’re DJing professionally. These songs are particularly good later in the evening when most of the older guests have left, and we’re releasing a new update to the DIY guide later this week that will include these songs during the top-40 dance times playlists. A reception dance song, especially later in the evening, should be fun, upbeat, and we think that these will be a hit!
If you don’t keep reading, we think that the Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars track ‘Uptown Funk’ is the one song that your reception can’t live without – but there are others that would add some spice to the back end of your reception’s dance party.
Fireball – Pitbull and John Ryan
Bailando – Enrique Iglesias, Sean Paul, Etc.
Worth It – Fifth Harmony
Fancy – Iggy Azalea
Uptown Funk – Bruno Mars ft. Mark Ronson

Hope your wedding planning is going great and we’re going to be posting more as the busy season picks up for our wedding DJ business. In the meantime, make sure you check out our free playlists, our guide, and all the other things that we can do to help make your big day awesome, even if you’re doing the music yourself.
